- Ian Wishart is a business journalist, currently working in Brussels. He worked on regional newspapers in England and Wales until 2010. Shortlisted for UK regional education journalist of the year 2009. He was education correspondent of the Leicester Mercury between 2006 and 2010. He is now business reporter for European Voice, an Economist Group newspaper. This blog is wholly unconnected with that role and the views here are entirely personal. ________________________________
